- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Five to six years ago I had tremendous pain in my right knee. I worked a twelve hour shift which required me to be on my feet at least ten of those hours. I went to another orthopedic doctor first, who suggested surgery. I then went to Dr. Thompson who explained we would try alternative treatments instead of surgery as a first option. Dr. Thompson gave me an injection in my knee on my second visit. After 48 hours, my pain was completely gone. I went for physical therapy for a few weeks. I have never experienced that pain again.
